Coloring Pages

Fifteen black-and-white line drawings taken from the book’s own illustrations — one for every story, each printed with its story title so a child can match the page to what you read together. Prints cleanly on a home or school printer.

How to use these

At home. Read one story at a bedtime. Ask the “before you read” question first — it takes ten seconds and changes how the child listens. Save the coloring page for the next day, so the story has somewhere to go.

In a classroom or church group. The guide’s six-week plan groups the stories into themes. Print the discussion page for yourself and the coloring page for the table. The activities need no materials, which is deliberate.

Permission. Copy either PDF for a class, a co-op, a group or a family. Please don’t sell them or host the files elsewhere — link to this page instead, so readers always get the current version.

The book these came from

On Purpose: 15 Bible Stories About the Children God Made on Purpose is a read-aloud collection for children aged six to eight. Each story pairs a child who experiences the world differently with an animal who shares something of their way of being, and with a Bible story told by someone who loves them.

The printables work on their own — you don’t need the book to use them.
